Thanks to J.H. for accompanying on my Sunday morning ride. Sorry you
missed out LotteBum, hope you are feeling better.

I was going to ride to uni today but it's sooooo humid. I gotta get
panniers, I can't deal with the heat from my backpack!

Nooo.. stay away from the darkness! ;-)

Having said that.. I have a rack and panniers for sale..
Given the distance it's probably cheaper/easier for
you to buy local but if you are interested. They are
just cheapies, nothing special, I just wanted to try
panniers out and ended up 'back with the pack'.

Panniers rule. I regularly carry 20KGs of stuff in mine, much easier
than in a back pack.

But then, how do you take your dog from campsite to campsite?

I am not afraid of heights, nor am I scared of falling. Height and
falling have never hurt anyone. Now the ground. The ground is a
different matter... --unk

I kept trying to tell Roger that. Didn't put in nearly enough
effort. Of couse, the RSPCA could get a bit edgy if you put a dog in
panniers rather than in a trailer.

Chairman: I'm glad to see so many bright-eyed and bushy-tailed people
here at this time of the morning.

I'm sure if you had a dog, it would have at least one bike of its own?

Ha ha, I spent the rest of that afternoon sneezing and wheezing after
being exposed to a cat...

*confused*

But I thought cats didn't wear clothes, so they couldn't really be said
to be exposing themselves in any case?

*ducks*

I wish I had such a 'heroic' excuse - I was just mucking about in
Caloundra helping out the father-in-law.....

Anyway - took the bike into Victors to get my rear cluster/cable
adjusted. Turned out the barrel that you use to tighten the cable had
actually started coming off altogether!! They 're-seated' it (whatever
that means) and now its working like a dream again!!

So on Friday morning (for the next SLART??) I won't hve any more dodgy
gear changing issues to blame my poor hill-climbing on.....
Cheers,
Absent Husband

No, He's in Mexico, sipping margaritas, laughing his
furry little ass off at all the people still staring at
the box trying to figure out wether or not the gun
has gone off!

Oh ye of the mighty T, cats do not cause any allergies. You are basically a
very sick person and are doomed to die despite all your physical exertions
to the contrary. You need to be thinking about whether you want to be buried
or cremated. Forget all about life enhancement. You are beyond that. Try to
get a bit depressed as that is your true life situation. All the triathlons
in the world won't save you. Resign yourself to death and oblivion.
