Haven't been able to find the weight of a basic Trek 41,43 or 4500
hard tail MTN bike.

Anyone have the figures?

Thx!

Thanks, Van.

So that makes an interesting range of about 45lbs for a WalGoose, at
one end to the 3lbs for a top-of-the-line racing bike! ;-)

Wheel weight? You'd also need the rest of the parts. A set of wheels
attached to a frame will not be a very good ride! <G>

I expect that fixie riders would enjoy it; they ride fixies for the
simplicity and the better road feel...

Even fixies have handlebars, stems, seatposts, saddles, crankes,
pedals, chains, and sometimes, brakes, no? <G>
