i know doing this is illegal and possibly a felony in the world of
newsgroups, but...

i'm still waiting to hear which 5 cranks were snapped.

i agree with the statement regarding the type of riding and skill
(lack of actually) as major factors.

in this thread...i think it was the second reply...someone said their
freind broke 5 crank arms....someone else asked which brand and model
of crank.....

i'm still waiting to hear what those crank brands and models were.....

Well, on my newsreader you started a NEW thread, with no references/quotes
to clue the reader in to what you were talking about. (And whatever
original thread there was is apparently long-gone.)

what about large people who want something strong? SOmeone I know has
snapped 5 crank sets just from the sheer power of his pedalling, he
has had to spend over 7 times the amount of money buying his bike than
i have buying mine cause he needs something really strong
