i put level 7, though im only level 6 officially, i can do everything in
7. im 3 skills off level 8.
- transitions in and out of hand ww
- pirouette, though i think i could the 3 spins in a hall
- backwards spin, no where near, dont know where to start reali, if
anyone has any tips they'll be much appreciated.

ive been riding for 1 year and 10 months and have pretty much been
working, slowly, on levels that amount of time,
did 1 + 2 in october 2004, 3 + 4 in febuary 2005, 5 in april 2005 and 6
sometime after that haha i think it was either may or september
havent done any levels this year, but hope to complete level 8 and have
most the skills in 9 pretty good.

I voted Level 2, except I can only mount with my right foot down.

But that seems to be enough for what I enjoy, XC rides on tracks and
bridleways.

Additionally I have some level 3 (back 1/2 a rev, hop 5 times, over a
10cm x 10cm obstacle (sometimes)), a couple of level 4 (backwards &
idling) and I'm lately getting the hang of hop-twisting 90 degrees, a
level 5 skill.

Thing is, for doing it that long your balance is really good. So even
if you dont start learning levels then you already have 4 years og
balance in your pocket so you pick up things fast.

So far I'm the only one that voted for level 10 (but there are 8 others
out there...). It only took me 13 years of riding to pass level 10. Not
that I only focused on levels but that's how long I've been unicycling.
Gave up for a couple years on level 9, then got back into it a few
years ago. It does feel good completing all 10 levels officially and
encourage all of you to try to. My suggestion: Start working on
backwards piruoutte NOW! It took me years to get it and some luck! I
hate that trick.

levels are silly infact i dont even think they have them right

how is a unispin level 10??
its not nearly as hard as say *looks up level 10 skills* sideways wheel
walk

ok, i surpose there ok if you wanna learn freestyle, but i unicycle how
i want to and do what ever feels right. Im not even level 3 because i
cant ride seat on stomach, well i might be able to but i dont see the
fun in it so i dont.

i dont feel the need for levels, because every1 finds diffrent skills
harder or easyer then some1 else. So unless they wanna make indivual
levels for each unicyclist i say forget about levels or redifene them a
bit so you dont have to be able to everything in level 3 to be a
level3.

I believe that a points system would be better, where each trick/skill
gets a sertain number of points and each level is accheved but getting
say 10 points more then the last level

another idea is to have levels for trials, muni, freestyle and street
because every body has there own style of riding that they like

I think this the most productive post ive ever made

sorry about the spelling im not very good at spelling

gives you say more balance or more control over the unicycle...
