Anyone want a LIVEDRUNK jersey?

http://www.portlandcyclewear.com/page/page/3163257.htm

It would probably be a wool jersey from those guys.

I checked shipping, and it would seem to be $7-8 on my continent,
presumably a lot more to the Old Country (whichever one that may be).

If you've already said you'd be in, you don't need to say so again in
this thread, but input on the design choices gratefully accepted.

I'm inclined to flocked letters over embroidered because of the price
difference. There's also the possibility of doing a semi-custom order
with Garneau if people would prefer a synthetic jersey.

Suggestions welcomed,

i would buy one, but i'm too poor, what with it being christmas and my
kid's birthday this month, along with the fact that i have a piece of
crap car and i don't get paid for the holidays that i don't work. i
know, i'm being whiney, but i wanted you to know that it's not that i
don't want one, i've just turned into an annoying semi-responsible
parent and so don't really deserve to wear one ;)

people must post pictures of their jerseys though, when they get them!

Kind of a shotgun approach you've taken, H. Appealing to the Christmas
spirit (it's better to give than receive), kid's birthday (conjuring
images of baby birds in the nest chirping hungrily), ailing vehicle
(implied imminent demise), unpaid holidays (Scrooge!), and finally
self-deprecating humility. Are you _sure_ you're not in politics or
sales? ;)

If you want people to chip in and buy you a Christmas present jersey,
why don't you just say so?

> people must post pictures of their jerseys though, when they get them!

Here's the deal (you knew there was going to be a catch), all jersey
purchasers shall post pictures of themselves wearing the jerseys they
bought, and you post a picture of you _not_ wearing the gift jersey.
That sounds fair to me. Oh, and no cheating. None of that, "Oh, I'm
not wearing the jersey {but I am wearing my Underarmor turtleneck}
stuff. I think that is in keeping with the Christmas spirit - sort of.
A kind of new, updated Christmas - but still very spirited.

Dumbass -

That's a good idea.

heather, we are willing to make an exception for you to post a picture
of you wearing the jersey _before_ you get it.

If enough people donate, it might bump the price into the next category.

This sounds like the setup for one of those "same as in town"
jokes.

I think we should raise a fund but only if HH promises to clean
off that damn bike of hers and ride it and stop feeling pathetic
about being over the hill (we're all over the hill here). Or better,
get one of those local roadies to find her a decent bike, at least
something with road tires.

Davey pledges 5 euros

He'd love to see HH properly attired whan she peddles - oops pedals -
her bum out to Marymoor

Provided she swears to give any excess donations to the Poor
Childrens' Fathers Christmas Beer Fund, putting the Christmas Trees
back at SEA-TAC, or other similar Worthy Cause

lol! no, i don't need a fund to get a jersey! :) thank you everyone,
that was nice, but i *could* buy one, if i were feelin irresponsible
and care free. but now when i spend $100 on something relatively
frivolous, i hear this nagging voice in my head that is either saying
"health insurance" or "401 k" or something equally as boring and adult.
i am not proud of this...

anyway, ben, now that it is winter (on thursday we had 2 inches of
rain, and then that night a huge windstorm. i am posting this from my
bf's office because we have no internet at my house) i am happy that i
am not riding any kind of bike. running is shorter and warmer.

wussily yours,
heather

I'm in. Long sleeve reduces abrasions when falling off the bike coming
home from the pub.
