Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been silently observing and
studying the ways of the Vandermaniums for the last year and finally decided
to come out and quit denying the obvious TRUTH which Mike preaches. I have
finally broken free from the chains of mountain biking and am here in FULL
SUPPORT of Mike and all his testimony. READ AND COMPREHEND EVERY WORD HE
POSTS VERY CAREFULLY and you too can once again become one with nature. The
TRUTH is undeniable! Mike is truly one with all things of nature. I can
not believe how blind I have been. I no longer wish to be a LIAR or and
IDIOT.

My new best friend Mike missed this magnificent opportunity to show how the
"mountain biker in chief" is interfering with the natural sciences. Please
forgive me Mike and let me join you in becoming an ex-mountain biker. I so
long to become more like you! I no longer wish to be a mountain biker.

Cheers!

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal scientists have been pressured by the White House
to play down global warming, advocacy groups testified Tuesday at the
Democrats' first investigative hearing since taking control of Congress.

The hearing focused on allegations White House officials for years have
micromanaged the government's climate programs and have closely controlled
what scientists have been allowed to tell the public.

"It appears there may have been an orchestrated campaign to mislead the
public about climate change," said Rep. Henry Waxman, D-California. Waxman
is chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee and a critic of
the Bush administration's environmental policies, including its views on
climate.

I am working on creating wildlife habitat that is off-limits to
humans ("pure habitat"). Want to help? (I spent the previous 8
years fighting auto dependence and road construction.)

Mike,
You may be skeptical, but I am doing everything possible to reduce my
footprint on the environment. This includes using a combination of solar
and human power for my computer. I have adapted my old mountain bike to
turn an alternator from a car to suppliment the power from 3 15 watt solar
panels which charge a 12V battery bank (solar isn't the best this time of
year in my region). I use my road bike for commuting to work, and for all
errands to the market. I do have a few questions regarding my search for
your TRUTH. Is my ex-mountain bike still a mountain bike even though it is
now only used indoors and for generating the electricty beeing used to send
this message tonight? Now that it is snowy and icy here in the midwest, I
am considering using my road bike for the generator and using my other bike
for commuting with better traction. (riding a road bike in four inches of
snow is a real challenge with those 10mm tires) Will this mean that I will
once again become a mountain biker even though the bike will only be used on
roadways, or do I need to convert it to a hybrid, put fenders on it, or do
some other form of transformation on it?

Thanks for your advice!
Charlie Maxwell

somehow I wonder if you are REALLY doing EVERTHING POSSIBLE, to reduce
your Enviormental Footprint...... because if that were REALLY True,
you would just cease to exist, and the Planet, would be better off,
without you..... and Mikey as well......

Me one who would loan you a bullet, to help you along.....
