Thought I would make a new thread just to see who is planning on going.
I'm going.

I think I make lists far too often. So yeah, add to it if you are going
and, if you want to, add a picture too so people know who you are at
the convention.

If I'm not much mistaken (and I often am), this will be your first
BUC?

I remember well my first time (the time before last). And how totally
freaked out I was that nearly everyone knew who I was and people kept
saying 'are you cathwood?' when I had never met them before in my life.
(Actually it still happens occassionally now and it still freaks me
out).

Although I had posted my pic on this forum (of which I had been a
member for a few months before BUC), I still kind of thought about this
as virtual reality and forgot it had an actual reality side to it. And
since it is still such a relatively small community and most people
know most other people, that's how they knew who I was and I didn't
know them. But I do now.

(Sorry I'm rambling)

I can't wait. I'll be great fun.

I just tried and I can do all the tricks in level 3 except that my left
foot has forgotten how to mount at the moment. Weird.

Awesome, that's a pretty decent ride. It's like a particularly stupid
coast to coast. I'd be really surprised if you're stuck with buying

You should go. I remember my first BUC back when i was a beginner. I
learnt loads of new skills. Be careful though, I'm now hooked on uni
events and it isn't very nice to my bank! :D

That would be so cool if you could come. I assume you have been
looking at flights. You really want to try and get to Durham Airport
MNE or second best is Newcastle. Although often things go via London
which is a pain as it is not near.

Ok, im confused! Just been reading the BUC 14 interwebsite and it says
there is no outdoor camping! I have asked this before, but someone said
that it was just left on the site from BUC12, and there is limited
outdoor camping.

I don't want to sleep in a sleeping hall, because I would never get any
sleep!

Can someone clear this up?

The website is not correct, there is outdoor camping. There is also
strictly NO sleeping allowed in the halls. The indoor sleeping is in
5 separate blocks that are segregated by Boy, girl, mixed, family and
late (no lights out time).
