"The 27-year-old Olympic champion completed the gruelling, six-lap,
51.4 km course in 2mins 17.06secs."

Sounds pretty impressive, no wonder he won :/

Hmmm...in excess of 1300Km/h - wonder if they tested him for drugs...or
just inspected his bike for a bolt-on jet engine?
