Blackburn Voyager 4.0 LED Front Light

Hi - has anyone experienced a problem with the mounting bracket of the
Blackburn Voyager 4.0 LED Front Light. I have recieved two units from
Wiggle, the second was a replacement for the first. Both brackets
snapped when out cycling. One snapped on the first outing and the
second one after about an hours riding. I have contacted Blackburn to
say that I suspect this is a design fault but have not received a
reply from them so I can only assume this is correct. As a bit of
background for you, they snapped on a road bike and my adive would be
to steer clear of these lights. Anyone else using them and can offer
any further info here?

Same problem here. The flange on the bottom of the light broke and it fell
off the mount after just a few hours of riding. The light still worked
but...

Are any cycle manufacturers reading this? Lights and their brackets
are more
of a pain in the butt than riding itself can give you. Can't
manufacturers agree
on some standards and build in something to accomodate the aftermarket
lights
we buy?

The best brackets are home made brackets, that are all steel. Some of
the best lights are the Cree LED flashlights from Fenix. The bicycle
light manufacturers are becoming irrelevant with their high prices and
poor mounts.
