cool encounters with death--biking

[ilaboo[_2_]]

out on the praire of Montana--flat as a table--no trees nothing to act as
shelter.

thunderstorm pushed down between two mountains--black as coal rumbling on

massive amounts of hail by the bucketfull come pouring down.

i pull over had hat on this time

casually sit down--awaiting hypothermia to sit in--
now 6 inches high of freezing cold hail all around me.

awaiting hypothermia,and coma to gradually set in.


pickup stumbles along somehow sees me
and i am saved-sitting now in pickup we could not drive as all we saw was
massive sheets of hail

anyway things settled down and here i am.

i once read about a balloonist that got sucked up into a tunderstorm--( but
not on a bike) that would have been the ultimate trip
