Some cyclists thrive on rough, off-road trails. Others prefer fast-paced
road racing. There's nothing wrong with leisurely rides around the
neighborhood, either. And some people enjoy a little of everything.
A specialty bike shop can determine what suits your needs, such as a
mountain, road, hybrid, recumbent or BMX bike. Its staff will size you for
a bike and properly assemble, adjust and lube it.
Here's a selection of shops that sell and service bikes for children,
entry-level adult cyclists and experienced enthusiasts. All offer test
rides, and they'll repair any bike.
