View Full Version : Monty Python: Bicycle Repairman!

Monty Python has decided to surrender to the inevitable and start posting
'official' YouTube videos. This is possibly my favorite one yet:

It certainly feeds my own bicycle-repair heroics fantasies. I mean, there
was this one time that I was able to help out a couple of kids fix their
brakes--that was cool. But lately, all I've been doing is tinkering with
my own bike.[1]

is find some new dynamo lights . . .

The blurb on their Youtube channel is worth reading as well.

I've mostly had to help rescue people with toasted back wheels (because
they're riding inappropriate stupid-light wheels). I've removed a
busted link from someone's chain and helped with some other people. One
time I wasn't able to help a nice lady with her flat (long tear) because
I didn't have a 15mm wrench to take her wheel off.

I've since remedied that problem to my toolkit.

Shoot me an email, I have one or two I can spare.

Bicycle Repair Man is pretty amazing. Notice how the bike goes from
being a SA rear, dyno front hub bike with fenders, to a drop bar bike
with a 1X setup and a derailleur!

Which caused this thought to bubble to the top of my mind: D'ya
think that, given the name and the way he dresses, Sarah Palin's husband
has always wanted to be....

A LUMBERJACK?

Just Wondering,

He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps,
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing
And hangs around.... In bars
