Which is bad, it enforces the idea that cycles don't belong on the
road, and motorists have the right to force us out of the way

Not sure how that applied to **uk**.rec.cycling

Good point but actually, I don't want to be in the same place as the cars.
Let them have their space and we can have ours. I think it's better that
way.

When I say reply in OE it replies to all groups that were originally posted
to. Since Ed posted to UK cycling, the reply goes to UK cycling. Bottom line
is that I was too lazy to sort through the groups that were posted to. At
least it was close to being on topic.

=v= Please rethink this and take greater care in the future.
Ed Dolan clearly has a lot of time on his hands and takes a
perverse pride in upsetting people, and widespread off-topic
crossposts are part of his little bag of tricks.

=v= If you're not a regular subscriber to any of these groups
you may not know that it's a constant annoyance to have these
constant off-topic discussions cross-posted into them. It's
mostly Ed Dolan and that Comandante Banana character (who has,
thankfully, been quiet lately -- maybe the men in white coats
caught up to him again). Please take a few seconds to make
sure the Newsgroups: header is relevant and help Usenet stay
a little bit useful.
<_Jym_>

P.S.: And yes, I know I'm cross-posting this myself, nobody
needs to point that out. Obviously, I'm hoping this works
more along the lines of a vaccine.
