These people need protecting from their own idiocy. Surely it's not
beyond the wit of engineers to restrict their lethality?

It is such a commonplace event that it hardly qualifies as news but of
course such drivers do pose a serious danger to cyclists, and everyone
else come to think of it. Surely it should be police and the courts
that could restrict their lethality if they so chose, not engineers?
There's nothing like a stiff prison sentence to make wannabe killer
motorists drive more carefully.

Nothing like common sense to make ****** cyclists avoid incidents.
