Smaller packs + slower speeds + debatable skill difference + lower
training volume? + ??? = who knows?

At a guess*, no. I'm basing that on the theory that even in
competitive cycling, the average female competitor is more prudent
about safety risks than the average male competitor, and that effect
probably swamps any skill deficiency**.

*Worthless guess.

**Why would there be a skill difference? Shallower competition. It's
easier for a woman with low skills and high ability to survive in pro
cycling than it would be for a man. Not that there haven't been crash-
happy men.
