This is an indicator of the decline of RBR. Masters nats came and went
without a post (did I miss it?). What's going on guys? This is a major
event for the regulars.

This race says it all. One entrant, no finishers. **** like this is
why national champion jerseys don't mean anything anymore.

Women - Tandem - 70+ (84km)
DNF Sharon Gregg (Avanti Racing Club)
DNF Jessica Cutler (Seattle Super Squadra/Cucina Fresca Cycling Team)

Was that acid enough for you? I could step it up but I'd have to
put some thought into it and I'd like to avoid that.

Its a fair point for any race with only one finisher but that isn't
typical. Some age categories reached the limit of 100 entrants.
There were 50 participants in the 60-64 male road race even.

Dumbass,

- Why would I restrict myself to fair points?
- If you try to add up all the jerseys they hand out you find
that there are so many that it isn't easy to count them all.
- Jesus ****ing Christ they should stop awarding national
champion jerseys for tandem races.

Peace and love,

They should award one jersey per set of tandem riders.
If the riders can't both get into the jersey at the same time
they forfeit it.

Since most jersey manufacturers have sizes beyond XXL
to cater to Fat Masters, I don't think this will be a problem,
unless the winning tandem team has made unfair use
of the Aerobelly[tm].

Fredmaster Ben

P.S. The Aerobelly[tm] is especially unfair in tandem racing
since it's like an aerodynamic fairing, allowing the stoker to
effectively ride closer to and more efficiently draft the captain.

I had to sell my Miyata for grocery money. Fastest remaining bike is
the ol' full-rigid Stumpjumper w/ slicks.

Alas, my major event appears to have gone down the tubes, too:
