Too bad that it requires Micro$hit's $ilverlight which unfortunately
compels one to use WinDoze with Internet Exploiter

And so far Davey only has this one broadcaster so Linux and probably Mac
boxes are SOL.

Tour Down Under will run from Sunday week.

A couple of people (out of the many that logon) have mentioned that
there are occasional problems with port 80 and so the site has been
moved to a different server and a different port. Hopefully that will
resolve the problem:

The underlying streaming link works in free, multi-platform VLC Player:
http://rrr.sz.xlcdn.com/?account=sport2media&file=UM_050112&type=live&service=windowsmedia&protocol=http&output=asx
(that was yesterday's, today might be different; I tracked it down by
opening the live video page in Safari on OS X with Silverlight
installed, opening the Activity window and looking for appropriate .asx
or similar links.)

Nice going

I played around briefly with "Moonlight" which is open source
"Silverlight" but didn't have any luck

However if you can develop simple steps to get any broadcast requiring
Silverlight for OS/X, I shall be more than happy to add them to the site
or provide a link if you preferred to host the instructions yourself.

Fortunately the situation doesn't arise very often as there are usually
several sources for the cycling events.
