The real story of couirse, badly or not at all reported in the Bikie
Press, is that the UCI chief, Hein Verbruggen (Phatty's just a
bum-boy/gopher/steppenfetchit), and a few of his buddies are trying to
take over ASO.

The mainstream press, even in FroggyReich, have ignored the story since
it's of little interest or import either nationally or internationally
to anyone outside the ever diminishing cycling community.

But one has to wonder where a Mars Bar salesman and a Schoolteacher had
amassed enough Rubles to go head to head with ASO in a hostile takeover
bid.

Also amazing is the fact that, like Davey and Sean Kelly, Phatty got a
lifetime ban by the IOC and/or their national IOC affiliates, yet was
elected a member at the 122nd IOC session at the 2010 FreezeYerAss
Follies in Vancouver, Kanukreich..

Davey contacted several internationally circulated (not _respected_
understand) news outlets pointing out the facts, none of which, with one
exception, either replied or published the facts.

The exception was a Scandal Mongering Comic which phoned Davey back the
same afternoon saying that that particular item of news was not "Up
their Alley", but they were sending a couple of hundred quid for a nice
tipoff and, having noted where Davey resided, asked would Davey make
sure to put them at the top of the list and make it exclusive if he came
by anything that was "Up their Alley" in Davey's stomping grounds.

Davey brought the Phatty/IOC matter up here but it provoked no response
although Brian referred to the matter a month or so later if memory
serves correctly.

On another tack, has anyone ever analyzed Phatty's position and/or
comments/actions on doping matters? Look at "The Chicken" (Michael
Rasmussen) and Bettini on the one hand and compare them with Sinkewitz
and Vino. Then ask yourself "Why?"

Jeeperz, he's up and down like a Whore's Drawers on PayDay at the Mine.

Similarly, a few years back, Davey took up the cause of the Bicycle
Messengers/Couriers, the most poorly paid and screwed around employees
on this barren rock, to try to get them under the umbrella of the UCI
and thereby (a) recognition; (b) power in negotiations and (c) some form
of insurance.

No luck whatsoever.

But watch out Lads and Lasses, a few short years later here come the
skateboarders, blessed by Pope Verbruggen and consecrated by ArchBishop
Phatty.

One has to wonder how that manoeuvre was pulled off so quickly and
without opposition.

Ask yourself why and how skateboarding became an Olympic Sport whilst
already badly represented cycling lost one of its main attractions and
the raison d'etre for many Trackies, The Kilo, plus if Davey remembers
correctly, a womens event too.

Was the UCI representing the cycling fraternity's best interests there?

Read between the lines Lads and Lassses. Ask leading questions and
decide for yourself what's happening in Aigle besides the Hookers and
Hotels doing very well, thank you.

He *must* have some impressive dirt on some of the IOC dimwits, I just can't see
how else that could have been allowed to happen.
