ABH for pavement cyclist that battered OAP

A 72-year-old man was ‘punched to the ground by a cyclist’ while walking
on the pavement with his wife in Clevedon.

Police have charged Kyle Richards, aged 25, with assault causing actual
bodily harm following the alleged incident on May 30.

He is accused of hitting the pensioner, having been riding on the
pavement at about 1.15pm.

We can now look forward to a post from Simple Simon Mason showing that a
driver - nothing to do with this case - has been jailed for ABH sometime in
the past.

ANLABY: A school caretaker who used his car to mow down a cyclist in a
road rage attack has been fined.

Churchgoer Carl Groves, 45, shouted at cyclist Gerard Lumb before
deliberately driving over his bike and knocking him down.

Mr Lumb suffered cuts and bruises to his knee and ankle following the
row in Tranby Lane in the village.

He has not got back on his £1,500 bike since the attack and is waiting
for physiotherapy.

Made sure the odds were in his favour - if the pensioner was only 65 he'd
have had his arse kicked.
