Pointing out the criminality of a cyclist is all the provocation they need.

At a minimum, remonstration will be regarded as the signal for a torrent
of foul-mouthed low-IQ yobbish abuse from a cyclist, not too different
from that so profusely resorted to by Yitzhak.
