Am looking for 40-50 mile scenic rides in West Virginia (loops preferable).
Will have road bikes and prefer something not extremely hilly although some
hills are o.k. Are there any published books of rides in the area or
websites anyone knows of?
Thanks.

Kind of hard to find a non-hilly ride in West Virginia.
Suggest you try the Mon Valley Trail out of Morgantown
http://www.montrails.org
Also the Western Maryland Rail Trail is neaaar Berkely Springs WV

You might also check the WV Rails-to_Trails Council:

In addition to the above rides, the Charlesont Sternwheel Regatta rides
are through
some of the most scenic parts of WV. If interested, I can fax a map to
you
or you might contact one of the bike shops in the Charlesont area for
directions.
These are loops and are road rides.
