View Full Version : There's a giraffe in my house!

It has arrived. My very own Torker Unistar TX 5ft giraffe. All the snow
and ice on the road now is meaningless, for I will be riding high.

But, alas, I'm on my honor not to open the box until Dec. 25th.....
:(

Do you have to act surprised when you actually get your hands on it? :)

I doubt surprise is the desited effect. It's in a box that says "TORKER"
in bright yellow letters, and at one end it says " 20" tall 5 feet"

It's there to torment me. I might be able to convince the 'rents to let
me bust the thing out the morning of Christmas eve. Otherwise I'm not
going to pay attention to anything else.

And what a surprise will it be when you open the box and it turns out to
be an electric guitar.

Worst argument of the year. As if you would if you had it! :-)

My friend disguised his son's first unicycle in guitar shaped cardboard, and
left musical "clues" around the house in the week or so before Xmas.

The surprise element worked brilliantly

Incidentally, for Sinterklaas this year, my wife disguised a fake
unicycle for me in a box that was used off-factory to package a
guitar.
