A selection of offers for my Bike Friday:

Although the bike in question has attracted the interest of a
(genuine) buyer, fingers crossed, I'll use this opportunity to
advertise another one I have for sale:

LOL ;-)
I advertised my Dawes Lowrider recumbent there and got exactly the same
folks trying to purchase it. I started responding to the first one, didn't
feel comfortable about it, checked the scam list and have been responding in
kind since. The second one I cut'n'pasted the warning into the response and
placed a curse on them, inviting the fleas of a thousand camels to infest
their *rsehole...forever, then got around to asking them if they knew what
it was they were trying to buy, then got onto informing them that it's sold,
and finally am just ignoring them <sigh>.....anyonewannabuya'bent???
Dave.

I was trying to suggest it to my Mum, whose hand has got bad enough that she
can't use an upright any more, or at least doesn't feel the need now she's
got a bus pass, but she wasn't convinced.

I think it's a long shot, but I will try raising the issue again. I think
she'd like it, but I'm not sure she'll ever take up cycling in a big way
again. I guess it's partly cause it's not nice to cycle into town.

Anyway, I think it's not really a lead for you, unfortunately.
