I had the opportunity to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail during a
recent vacation in Soutwest Virginia. It is a very nice trail. For
those less inclined (excuse the pun) to ride to the top, there are a
number of shuttle services in Damascus, VA that will take you to the
top for the ride down. I rode to the top and met my wife and kids for
the ride down. Nice way to mix a hard ride with a family ride.
Anyway, for those who like nice rails to trails, the Creeper trail is
worth a visit. Here are some links to help plan your trip.

By the way, we stayed here, about 50 yards from the trail and about 5
miles west of Damascus.

Russ,
Is this a B&B or can you rent the entire house? The website mentioned a
fully equipped kitchen rather than meals usually available at a B&B.

You rent the whole house. Not a B and B.
