I understand there is a way to cross I 95 from New London to Groton
non a bike path. Any help with routing appreciated.

On the northern most side of the Goldstar bridge, the southbound lane, there is
a narrow walking and bicycling path.

The entrances aren't clearly marked, but the one time I crossed, from The east,
I had no trouble finding the signs that marked the way. In New Londow, the
entrance is on a dead end street, Bailey Circle, off of Williams Street.

On the Groton side, you can get to the sidewalk that snakes to the path from
either side of the bridge. From the south, there's a busy intersection, I think
it's bridge st(lots of directional signs), there's a sidewalk that goes under
the bridge to the north side. Coming from 184, there's a turn off a mile or so
from the bridge called toll gate road. You can get closer via 184, but the trip
on toll gate road then Wlaker Hill Rd, then Grove ave is residential and easy to
do. At the end of Grove there's a small green sign with "bicycle something" on
it, it looks like somebodys back yard 8) Go down that and you're there.

I think it's easier done that written... you'll find if you go.

good luck with it.

Well, there's a rather large river between New London and Groton...and you can use 95 to cross it. Otherwise crossing 95 in either town gets you to the other side of the road...but still in the same town.
