SPRINT PAIRINGS

In just 2-1/2 weeks, on July 28, is the State Championship 200m Time
Trial and preliminary sprint rounds. For those of you not familiar with
this intense competition, the 200m TT serves as a State Championship and
also as a seeding mechanism for the sprints, in which competitors go
head-to-head to be the first across the line. The Sprint Championship
finals (top 4 men, top 2 women, top 2 juniors) are on Thursday, July 31.

For the first time, an amazing spreadsheet is available to riders and
fans alike to track this competition. Check out the home page of the
Velodrome web site at www.northbrookvelodrome.com to download the
official pairings matrix. To save cost, we're asking everyone to print
it out themselves, and to spread the word - take copies to your local
shop, your local market, wherever you can post it. Publicize the heck
out of this competition, and see what may happen!

To kick off this promotion, we'll have a big banner at the Chalet
tonight. Check it out, and help us spread the word about the upcoming
sprints!

So the 200mTT is also a State Championship? I missed that in the
rulebook. More jerseys!
