Bear Mtn Spring Classic 4/30 in New York

Registration is open for the Bear Mountain Spring Classic in Harriman
State Park in New York on Saturday, April 30. The event has fields for
USAC pro-1-2, cat 3, cat 4, women 1-2-3, women 4, masters 40+ (cat 1-4
only); the first three juniors in the cat 3 and cat 4 races will be
recognized with medals. The cat 3, cat 4 and masters races are full
with a waiting list available. The women's race is part of the Tenafly
Bicycle Workshop Women's Category 3 & 4 Race Series

The Harriman course is one of the country's most scenic road courses
and tremendously satisfying to race on.

Also, mark your calendar with Saturday, July 9 for the Lou Maltese
Memorial and Saturday, August 27 for the Mengoni Grand Prix, both in
Central Park. The Maltese race will have fields for juniors, men cat
4 and women 3 and 4. The Mengoni will have men's pro-1-2, women's
1-2-3 and men's 4 fields.

Excuse me, I misstated the fields in the Mengoni GP in New York City's
Central Park on August 27 -- it will be men pro-1-2, women 1-2-3 and
men 3. We expect registration to open in late June.
