ni-mh battery

bought a Knightlite front-light set a few weeks back the power supply is via
a ni-mh battery, but after the first recharge the battery packed up and was
sent back from where it was bought, the shop couldn`t say how long it would
be before a replacement would be sent, is there anywhere i could get a spare
battery so i can continue biking at night? im in the uk
