Grewal in Olympic-cheat shocker!

Trolling through The Competitors archive, I found a recent interview
with Alexei Grewal.

He wasn't really training with the US team. On the day of, his personal
soigneur was feeding him on the far side of the course.

"It was totally illegal, but that's life..."

Fun interview.

Antarctic Mike

Bob took a few minutes to chat with Antarctic Mike Pierce, who was 51
hours into a 110 consecutive hour World Record attempt on the Spin Bike.
There is a reason he is in the Knucklehead Hall of Fame!

....as a follow-on to multiple ice-cold treadmill charity marathons and
ultras, plus he did an entire Tri in a walk-in freezer. He brought in an
endless pool into the fridge.

By comparison, the 110-hour stationary bike ride seems almost sane.
Averaging 13 mph over the first 51 hours; claims he slept while riding
the bike. The interview is most interesting.

I wonder if he ever pulled a 1500 lb. trailer up and down mountain
passes too.

Is that considered the RAAM for track riders?

Thanks,
