around her left eye socket, a fractured left cheek, a cut on her
forehead, concussion and a bleed to the brain.
Sue says all her siblings are shocked and they can't understand why
anyone would ride off.
"The police told us she did nothing wrong, the light went green for her
to cross. I can't understand why anyone would do this and then ride off."

Put into perspective, there are over 2.4 million cyclists who cycle
at least 3 times week.

What is the connection between that "statistic" (whatever its status)
and this shocking incident?
