New IGH shifters for nearly all single cable operated hubs

http://www.hotrodbicycles.com/parts/shifters.html

The shifters use an index plate that has up to 4 different shift
patterns that you can swap out, providing support for almost every
single cable shifting hub currently available.

The first version is likely a little too rat-rod for most
bikes, but he is working on another version, drawings of which you can
see he

Whyever should you want to discard a convenient rotary control close under your hand on the handlebar for this distant, inconvenient, gaudy apparatus that requires you to take your hand of the directional control of the bicycle. Man, I've heard of unnecessary crap, but this takes the cake.

And, of course, the makers, by not supplying a two-cable operating system, have overlooked a small but rich niche market where their product would actually solve a problem, Rohloff hub owners who want to use drop bars, for whom Rohloff doesn't make a suitable control.

The Dumb & Dumber Co makes flashy bling that no one wants, and overlooks a real market which doesn't blink at three hundred dollars and up for a control. It figures.

What a waste.
