Cyclist killed in head on crash
 

Local cyclist tragically killed on the notorious A15 north of Lincoln.

"He liked to help others by using his welding skills to repair and fix
people's gates. His son said no problem was too much bother, and he was
well-known in the community. And he recalled his father was never driven by
money.

"My dad didn't have any time for himself - he spent all his time helping
others," said Richard. "He was the type of person who wouldn't go out to buy
a new bike to get fit.

"He would buy a second-hand one for £3 and to him it would be a great bike
as it worked.
