Germany can cyclists too, why not UK

A German student who was breathalyzed at over three time the German limit
for alcohol has been banned from using a bicycle, skateboard or any other
licence-free vehicle on the public roads, for 15 years.

Now that is a seriously long ban.

The relevance being that it has been claimed that cyclists cannot be banned
from the road, since other EU countries can ban them, why can't we introduce
it?

Alcohol is known to lower inhibitions and negatively affect judgement, so I

lycra and go cycling.

Surely you mean:

I walk ****ed all of the time
I cycle ****ed all of the time
I drive vehicles ****ed all of the time
I have driven trains ****ed all of the time

In fact: in a nutshell, I am ****ed - all of the time.

Meanwhile in Britain a woman who was breathalyzed at over three times the limit is banned for only 2 years for being in charge of a ton of metal while ****ed.
