POLICE are trying to trace a cyclist who was in collision with a woman
on a pavement in Redditch but failed to stop. The pedestrian, Kim
Sarson, was near Bridge Surgery, in Headless Cross, walking towards the
chemist, on Wednesday, January 14, at 5.30pm, when she was in collision
with a man who was riding a bike on the pavement. Her head collided with
the cyclist, and she fell to her knees, but he failed to stop and
carried on in the direction of Astwood Bank. She received two black
eyes, grazing to her forehead and a bloodied nose. She said she felt
dreadful since the attack, has needed time off work for concussion, and
"wanted an apology" from the cyclist, who was wearing all dark clothing
and on a mountain bike. Police say they are treating the incident as an
assault and are studying CCTV.

Oh come on...

She should count herself lucky... just imagine if it had been a car
being recklessly driven along the footway.
