Does anyone remember this bike??

Hi
I was recently on holiday and got talking to my friend and I remembered
something from my childhood. Specifically a bike that was all the rage, and
I remember desparately wanting one, but of course it was too expensive, and
I ended up with a standard BMX (which would have been quite expensive in
itself anyway). I'm trying to remember the name of the bike, so that I can
hopefully find some pictures of it online. It was basically the shape of a
BMX, and most of the metal frame was covered with some black plastic. The
whole bike was a sleek black design and the best part was the "sound
machine" near the handlebars, which would emit sounds of a police siren and
other such sounds, if the button was pressed. This bike was THE COOLEST
THING if you were about 8 years old in about 1988 or so. Sorry my
description is a bit vague, but I'm hoping somebody has an idea of what I'm
talking about.
Thanks for any information
Yateen

No it was nothing like that. It was like the entire frame, and handlebars,
had a black plastic covering, so the whole thing had a plasticky, but cool,
sleek black look to it.

sorry.. but around these parts, in '88, if you had a bike that had any
type of plastic on it you would have been severely beaten on sight...
twice. Only GT freestyle bikes or Haro and Mongoose BMX bikes were
allowed in my neighborhood. But I do remember the grip mounted "twist
throttle" noise makers that sounded like a motorcycle engine that were
available in the late 70's and early 80's.

Sounds like the "motorcycle" bicycles sold in Kmart. A bicycle surrounded
by a plastic motorcycle body. IIRC, there was a police version and
"ninja" type.
