If you like "The Recumbent Bicycle" book, please post an Amazon review!

Hi all... I just noticed a trash-talking review of "The Recumbent
Bicycle" book up at Amazon.com. It's been on the "top" of the reviews
list for a few months now. Sheesh.

If anyone here likes the book, could you please post a brief review
there?

The guy gives the book "minus 5 stars" and says it's "vague." That it
only has a "few" dark photos. Just a bunch of nutty, off-base raving.

If you like the book, it's a shame to leave a wacko "review" on top of
the list, as the first thing that people wondering about recumbent
books see.

Your input would be greatly appreciated! Constructive criticism always
appreciated, etc.

Thanks! --JP

I went to Amazon.com to read the reviews and I did not see any minus 5
stars?? I did see that there were a total of five reviews, one 1 star,
two 4 stars and two 5 stars. Not bad....... I think the one star
review will always be the first one reads because it was the first
review to be sent in. I guess??

Hi... The newest review is the first displayed. So, sadly, the
trashing review is the latest one and is now on top display. Also, one
cannot give a book a minus-5 rating or even a zero. He gave it a
one-star and started out his review saying that he actually gives it a
minus-5, which seems a bit "night of hard drinking" oriented for this
book, especially considering that he's off in quite a few ways with
his "review." He says it only has a "few" photos---one a page for 180
pages is few? Nutty. Oh well! Well, thanks people for posting your
thoughts on the book! I know how much you ARBR's love to post! : )
Also, it's the only book all about 'bents. So if you like 'bents and
like the book, a constructive remark on Amazon is always appreciated!

I loved the book, but putting in good reviews without buying from them
might raise a few eyebrows. It was just nearly impossible to get here
without a 2 month wait; so I am sorry I had not tried Amazon first.

Why? It doesn't stop you having read it. Maybe Amazon will find out
they've been missing out on a load of sales!

True! Amazon might get a laugh about how stupid I was! Borders
books looked, and in about a month phoned "can't find it. Must be a
back order out of print". An '04 printing??? I forgot about it.

Then 1 month later; another phone call "got it".

So, hey, once again: did any of you netizens like Gunnar's book?

If so, PLEASE post a remark to Amazon about it.

It's at least as easy as posting anything to ARBR. Right?

Anyone like 'bent media? Care to give it an EASY boost?

Some nut posted a "Minus 5 Stars" review to Amazon. Do you agree with
that assessment? You guys do AN AWFUL LOT of posting of evaluations of
EVERY aspect of recumbents here at ARBR and at BROL, right? Any chance
anyone wants to post their view of the book at Amazon? Maybe to refute
the nut-poster in EXACTLY the same way that so many here just LOVE
rebuting the nuts who show up here.

Who's been publishing the ONE and ONLY book all about 'bents for the
past few years now? Who's your daddy? If you appreciate 'bent media,
please don't let that kook's "review" sit there on the top position.
It's just taunting you, like any troll here. C'mon, put 'im in his
place! A post like that wouldn't last 10 minutes here. Would it?

Hello?

Can I get an assist here?

THANKS!

I bought "The Recumbent Bicycle" book last summer, before
buying my first 'bent. It's a great book and I enjoyed reading
it over the course of a few weeks.

Just submitted a review at http://amazon.com, but it will
probably take a few days to be posted.

I sure do not know how you did that. That is certainly not easier!
