very old (i think about 16 years) shimano rear cassette repair/replace - MFZ012

does anyone know how to remove this cassette from the freehub?

i'm trying to replace it, but it doesnt have the conventional splined
free-hub device into which i could insert the removal tool.

sorry if i've butchered some of the exact terminology. thanks in
advance for any responses...

Two chainwhips: one on the largest sprocket to stop the cluster spinning
and one to unscrew the smallest sprocket anti-clockwise.
