inter-m brake - lost rubber plug
Or just leave it open. Won't matter too much.
on the front brake, hole is quite low and grease goes out when it
softens.
i leave oily patches on parking :)

Inter-M hub brake too weak
i got giant fusion dx bike, such as

its second hand but without many signs of use, ie like new!
however, brakes...

rubber grips - too sticky
apparently they are intentionally sticky, in order 'to provide secure
grip even in wet conditions'
just tried them in rain, stickiness receded :)
they are like...

rubber grips - too sticky
i just get a bike (Giant Fusion) and while rest of bike seems fine
(second hand) rubber grips seem too sticky.
i noticed before that thes (Ergon?) grips start to get stickier and
stickier over...

and get neighboring claws too open? :)

You havn't tried the hub with all the balls in place.
i am just less then confident in fixing the ball retainer myself.
(ball keeps falling out)
on the other hand, there is nothing to lose ..

it sure looks like the loose balls created obstacles that are cleared
now
none of them was crushed and overall impression is - clean
however, ball retainer seemed a bit 'out of shape,

i had a problem with nexus, where gears 5-8 were not available
i opened the thing, and, as has been suggested here,
(but no longer cached on google groups?)
there seem to be problem with ball...

red-stripe nexus inter-8 - gears frozen
i can not shift down from 4th gear on my red-stripe nexus inter-8
in fact, cranks are totally frozen in gears 5-8
returning shifter to 1-4 range and all is fine there again
