I'm using my fingerless DTE waterskiing gloves.
I liked that the palm was not padded, but I get protection from wind on cold
days, and grip on long rides.

A rim spining that fast @ 100kph would throw off the water. There would be
no 1 gram of water on the rim.
A wet rim at rest might hold a gram of water,...

couple things;
if he decelerated from 100kph did he decelerate to 99kph and keep going or
come to a stop.
And if he was going 100kph was he going down hill, I think so... I can't or
never have done...

Can a dent in an aluminium rim be fixed?
a picture helps.
from what I hear you say is that the rim is bent inwards. for something like
that I get an anvil, and a wooden dowel or length of wood about 3/4 inch
square by 9 inches long....

plate attached by 2 screws that connect it where the reflector would screw
into the pedal.
