Maybe I am reading this wrong, but surely the pedestrian had right of
way, the cyclist went through a red light to clip the pedestrian.

i.e. the Ped wasn't jaywalking but the cyclist was RLJing.


Looking at the location on streetview it seems it is not a pedestrian
crossing. It is a cycle crossing.

It appears the cyclist was on the road, crossing the cycle crossing;
the road lights appear to be red. The pedestrian was crossing the road
without any guidance from pedestrian lights.

Yup so the cyclist was Red Light Jumping and the pedestrian was not
jaywalking.


Fortunately there is no such thing as jaywalking in this country but it
doesn't remove the need to pay attention.
