so auto drive cannot see in the dark, fog etc.??Â* Sounds like the end of
self driven cars.

I agree, besides the smoke/dark concerns, there is always the chance of
one of the sensors packing up or acting strangely.
It has also been proved that the cars can be taken over wirelessly by a
dodgey tech wizzo at the side of a road to make it crash.
Even a small laser can affect the sensors.
