Default Pedestrian killed in A34 crash may have walked from Oxford

A pedestrian who died after being hit by an ambulance on the A34 may have walked from Oxford city centre.

Police have revealed they believe the 35-year-old man may have walked on to the dual carriageway from the city centre before he was involved in the collision with an ambulance .

They are now urging drivers to come forward if they have any information or dash cam footage.

The incident happened at 3.20am on Friday, November 29 , on the northbound carriageway near the Peartree interchange.

The man died at the scene and his next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

The road was closed for more than eight hours after the incident.
