Regarding Fire/Smoke Map 13 Sep 2020, what are the red dots?

There's one in Portage WI. I was just there and any massive
conflagrations were well disguised. There's also a red dot
in Chicago where my daughter shared beach snapshots from a
clear dawn, no fires visible.
