Default Very important cyclists on cargo bikes are more important thananti-terror measures.

The gap is 1.2m wide.

It's Kings Parade in Cambridge - one of the few places in the country
with sensible levels of cycling. Say a median bike is 500mm wide,
they've left a gap 2.4 vehicles wide. That would be like putting in a
pinch-point on the M25 that forces all the vehicles on both
carriageways through a gap under 4.8m wide. It seems entirely
foreseeable that there will be accidents.

At the weekend in the summer I doubt you'll get all the pedestrians
through either.
