"More on the Kings Cross scandal

Today we bring you the latest on the scandal relating to Transport for
London’s culpability at the lethal junction at Kings Cross; and we
also bring you a story of everyday faux-East London folk (ie, Bumbling
Boris and his merry men). And please remember: we’ll be back at Kings
Cross on Monday (12 March) from 6.30 to 7.30pm. Will you be there?

Here you go, Doug.
Make your voice heard.

Unfortunately I don't have a voice as such and even if I had a mere
change of Mayor is unlikely to make much of a difference for cyclists.
The emphasis is mistakenly placed on speeding up traffic flow and
allowing drivers to dominate our roads at the expense of cyclists and
pedestrians.

Have you noticed how cyclists are protesting world wide recently, on
the streets? They achieve some publicity by so doing and that is their
only voice.

I must be lucky where I live because I think it is a perfect city to
cycle in.
I have so many safe and off road alternatives and I could not wish for
more really.
I can cycle home around 90% off road at 1430 today if I so desired,
not something one can do in London.

That depends on whether the footway is classified as "the road".
