Mavic doesn't have the parts.
Maybe Wheels Manufacturing does. I sure hope so.

As far as I'm aware, the MX601 was an MR601 with 135mm spacing that
differed only in the axle used. Have you asked Mavic if they can supply
you
with an axle?
