QUOTE:
Â* A drinks bottle thrown from a white pick-up truck has hit a cyclist.

It happened on Sunday, May 31 at about 2.35pm as two cyclists were
travelling south on the B3021 Southlea Road from Datchet to Windsor.

Someone in the truck lobbed the bottle which hit the cyclist in the
chest. He suffered bruising and inflammation to his chest but did not
need hospital treatment.

The incident is being taken seriously by police who believe it could
have had disastrous consequences.

Investigating officer PC Alexander Massey from the Windsor and
Maidenhead Smarter Resolution Team, said: “This was a frightening
experience for the two cyclists, and I am appealing to anyone who has
any information about this incident to come forward.

“If you were driving or cycling in the area at the time and saw
anything, please get in touch."

You can contact police using the online reporting form quoting
reference number 43200160762, call the 24 hour non-emergency number
101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Well... either it was an incredibly good shot (for which the thrower
ought to be congratulated) or it was a completely accidental fluke.

Which do you reckon it was?

Littering

Oh, it was that as well.

Seeing how GB does in the Olympics these days, and if the thrower
(whther or not the driver) can be identified, perhaps he or she is
needed by Team GB.
