Fluid for hydraulic disc brakes
someone trolled:
What are the pros and cons of mineral oil vs DOT 4 as fluid for
hydraulic disc brakes?
Use the fluid the manufacturer recommends, the one with which the
fluid seals and piston cups work best. Any reasonable brake fluid
will not freeze and won't not compress (be spongy).
Of course, this has been discussed at great length here often, so it's
not new. So why ask?
