Well given the vastly increased danger that motorists pose it is just
as well they don't habitually drive on pavements but they do crash
there quite often, with disasterous and often fatal results.

So at last you agree that cyclists deliberately ride on pavements, while
the vast majority of motorist do not deliberately drive on pavements.
Oh, and given the yearly mileage of motorists, they do not crash on the
pavement quite often.
