It's illegal to park facing the wrong way. At least in civilized countries.
No, in civilised countries that law is ignored by everybody, including the police. Some bull**** about poorly sighted drivers can't see the car as the lights are the wrong colour? Don't drive if that bothers you!
My complaint is WHERE the car is, not which way it's facing. Parking on alternate sides uses twice as much road space and larger vehicles can't get past.
Then the larger vehicles should take a different route if it bothers them.
This is a culdesac, there is no other route.
